We have had so many requests for Silver Fern and Koru designs, so we have created a set of 15 fern designs of different size/styles and types of fernz (Once we started, we just kept going) .
For our non-New Zealand customers, In New Zealand the silver fern in addition to being a beautiful plant, is recognised as a New Zealand icon -
the silver fern is used as an emblem on our National Rugby (All Blacks) and Netball (Silver Ferns) Teams. The Koru is a Maori design meaning the beginning of life, and is inspired from the unfurled new leaf of a silver fern. The Silver Fern on a black flag has been proposed as an alternative to our National Flag. Thats how much New Zealanders love their Silver Fern/Koru.
